Tour
Select homes and the Off Track Gallery were open on Mother’s
Day Weekend for this San Dieguito Art Guild 12th annual tour.
These homes are notable for their award winning gardens and
designs. Guild artists, many with national and international
recognition, displayed artwork at each home and in the gallery
for sale, including paintings, prints, ceramics, sculpture, glass,
textiles and jewelry. All of the studio homes in this self-guided
tour were in the Encinitas area.

Chances to own the watercolor painted during the event were sold
as C-H-U-CC-K-O tickets (C4, etc.) at $20 each, 2 for $30 or 3 for
$40... A lucky winner took it home that evening! I LOVE painting
in front of a crowd... had about thirty watching for three hours.

sculpture of myself painting outdoors with nationally-renowned
sculptor, Jane Darin. “Chuck en Plein Aire” features all the stuff
I use, including my infamous five-inch brush, blue tape and original
watercolors done at 1/3 scale; stands 24" tall on a 24" base.
