Here you’ll find an assortment offered nowhere else. Not See’s. Not Godiva. Not
Ghirardelli. One of a kind and dee-lish!

Funny story behind this painting; painted in a studio atmosphere with artists sharing space.
The candies were custom picked for their color, size, shape and texture to enhance the composition.

Well, you can imagine come lunch time how that box of chocolates sitting on a bench next to the easel could be a tempting source of dessert for fellow painters.

Needless to say, this was a very expensive still life what with having to replace one or two of the nuggets each day as they mysteriously disappeared...

Eventually, the kind ladies of the candy store felt compassion and stopped charging for each piece. Of course, they thought the Artist quite insane asking for a single chocolate at a time ~ until he shared the painting with them.

True story.
