The backstory: Jimmy Buffett saw this wonderful 1930’s boat in the waters of San Diego and was so moved, he wrote ‘Jolly Mon Sing’ in 1985. He and his daughter, Savanna Jane, then wrote a book called ‘The Jolly Mon’.

I was struck by her the same way Mr. Jimmy was, and absolutely had to capture her fleeting spirit!

This jewel is currently in drydock in Lakeside seeking funds to restore her to glory.
